Test Report

The Billy Goat Force F1300H, has been conceived through market research and hours of computer optimisation. Those familiar with the old model should fire it up and feel the force. The new model incorporates improvements from the ground upwards.
Billy Goat Industries claims this is the world’s most powerful wheeled blower, and the new version certainly has more oomph than the older model and much less vibration.
The steel has been replaced by toughened plastics, which makes it a remarkably lightweight piece of machinery, but the housing is ribbed to give it added strength and it is isolated from the frame. A proper chassis with three large wheels makes it a great little mover, and it’s quiet, too. This is one Force to be reckoned with.
The blower’s 13hp Honda engine starts first time, and just five sweeps clear the entire football pitch of leaves and debris. “This definitely beats raking. It has to be the quickest way of shifting leaves in open areas — even heavy twigs and sticks,” says a tester.
You might think such a tough, robust machine would be heavy to handle on wet ground but that is not the case. As soon as you start to push or pull the F1300H, you realise how light and manoeuvrable it is.
To add to the Billy Goat’s flexibility, the machine carries a 90? nozzle that can be clipped onto the outlet to blow debris forwards if you are working in narrow spaces.
Also available are 9hp models, powered by Honda or Subaru engines.
